I've tried a few of these and the cascading veins on the shaft make way more difference than I expected. It's firm enough to hold its shape but still has that soft give. The 1-3/4" width is perfect for me.

The round head on this one makes a huge difference compared to the tapered toys I've owned. The cascading veins along the shaft add texture without being too much. It's firm enough to stay put but still has a little give.

Wasn't sure the 1-3/4" girth would be right for me but it turned out perfect, no warming up needed. The round head glides way easier than the cheaper one I had before. Honestly the most comfortable I've tried.
