Woody Clouds Blue with Glitter: Care Guide

Quick answer

Clean your Woody Clouds Blue with Glitter with mild soap and warm water, avoid harsh cleaners, and store it away from direct sunlight to preserve the glitter and silicone.

Diagnosis and care steps

• Symptom: Glitter appears dull or falling off: This can happen if you used abrasive cleaners, scrubbed too hard, or stored the toy with other items that rubbed against it. Switch to a soft cloth or your hands for cleaning.
• Likely cause: Harsh cleaning or friction: Abrasive sponges, alcohol, or peroxide can strip glitter. Friction from storage bags with rough seams can also cause wear. Use only mild soap and warm water.
• Corrective action: Gentle cleaning and proper storage: Wash with mild soap and warm water, rinse thoroughly, and pat dry with a lint-free cloth. Store the toy in a soft pouch or separate from other toys to avoid contact. After cleaning, inspect the surface for any loose glitter and avoid further friction.
• Point to stop or choose another option: If the glitter continues to shed after gentle cleaning, the toy is not defective—it is a characteristic of handcrafted glitter silicone. Consider using it as is or reserving it for display.
